This quiz is unfairly written. As an Anglican, much of what I believe is traced back to the early church, and in some cases, directly to the Apostles. However, this quiz is written from a solely Protestant Evangelical persective, and therefore encorperates only traditions and interpretations that have been created since the Reformation, or, perhaps, the Evangelical movement of the mid-ninteenth century. I commend the writers for challenging the contemporary church on their knowledge of the interpretation of Scripture, but caution them against making any kind of statement pertaining to the ancient beliefs and practices of congregations outside of their immediate sphere of influence. Remember, there has never been a generation which agreed entirely on the interpretation of Scripture. Even the Apostles had differing views from time to time.

Not sure whether I actually learned whether I am truly a conservative, moderate, or liberal due to the phrasing of some of the questions and what seems to be forced choice answers. However, the test as given might serve as a barometer of growth (?) if taken periodically over a number of years.

I took the test for self help, just to see if my knowledge supported my beliefs. i scored a 30 and was surprised , but pleased. I think every Pastor should take it for personal knowledge if nothing else. thanks for making it available.
