I'm with David H. It was interesting but poorly phrased and limited. I call myself conservative, but, on occasions, I felt that all options were acceptable particularly those questions about inspiration and interpretation. It's certainly not of any use in selecting candidates for service. As an observation, the Sabbath is the only Commandment NOT repeated in the NT. How would a believing slave observe the Sabbath in the Roman Empire? It was not the issue chosen to die over.

I found it very useful. As a Christian lapsed in adolescence and returning in adulthood, I have been trying to find my place and my questions among other Christians, and seeing my position on these various questions and on the scale has been instructive.

The author is asking the wrong questions. I took hermeneutics from different teachers in 3 different seminaries. I've taught hermeneutics. It seems to me that maybe we should begin by asking if Jesus is the Word, then how is the Bible the Word of God? If we call the life story of Jesus the gospel, how did Jesus preach the gospel? Why do we want to fit on someones scale?
