I took the test and submitted, and was presented with a blank window. It would be nice to actually GET the results...

I found many of the choices on the hermeneutics quiz to be either poorly phrased or providing insufficient choices. Some of the terms require definition due to a variety of meanings being possible. As with all surveys, this survey has a bias. The author seems to use nontraditional phrases that fail to communicate accurately within what should be a traditional context.

This was a great test. I would agree with Peter C. that some of the language forced me to answer some questions in ways I wasn't fully comfortable with - especially as each one involves a flat, liberal vs. conservative scale. As to Rod Wetzig's comment: My prayer is that you would reconsider using a test like this as some sort of way to weed through applicants for your ministries. These issues are complex and shaded with so many hues of gray, that to set a litmus test for how "liberal" an applicant is, seems so radically different than the way Jesus chose his own followers. Will you decide on a magic number that cannot be crossed? What if a question like the one on capitol punishment is the item that pushes the applicant just over the line of what you have decided is conservative enough? just some thoughts.
