one of the questions regarding the sabbath did not provide a satisfactory answer to select. It was not "changed" to Sunday, but Romans, Colossians and Hebrews makes it clear that Jesus is our sabbath rest as a type of the true Joshua and as believers we can observe every day or one particular day as holy.

The author is asking the wrong questions. I took hermeneutics from different teachers in 3 different seminaries. I've taught hermeneutics. It seems to me that maybe we should begin by asking if Jesus is the Word, then how is the Bible the Word of God? If we call the life story of Jesus the gospel, how did Jesus preach the gospel? Why do we want to fit on someones scale?

The problem with becoming the arbiters of what the Bible is saying is that 'we' become right which makes everyone else wrong. However, if we don't have principles in line, every person does what is right in their own eyes. Oh dear, once again, we have to fall back on the grace of God to work it out.
