Q 14 on historical context needs editing. Answers 3 and 5 do not make sense: 3. Often and sometimes significant in order to grasp meaning. How can it be both 'often' and 'sometimes'? 5. Necessary and dangerous to avoid in reading the Bible. If emphasis is on 'dangerous to avoid' then leave out the weaker adjective 'necessary'.

I thought it interesting that The Hermeneutics Quiz didn't deal much with the relationship between hermeneutics and exegesis. It would be interesting to see how conservatives, moderates, and liberals approach the exegesis of a passage of Scripture.

I am chairman of the Credentials Committee for the Conservative Congregational Christian Conference. One of our members urged us to take a look at the Hermeneutics Quiz and discuss if it would be usable for applicants to our denomination's ministries. After taking the quiz, I am interested, and would like to offer this to our committee. What would be the cost and way we could use this, legally, should we choose to do so?
