It's a fun little exercise, like a hermenutical warm-up to the day's biblical exploration, but could never be considered a normative or determinative assessment of perspective. From the structure of the questions, which fail to embrace the broad range of hermeneutic embraced by clergy, and the limited scope of social situations to the semantics of the questions, which do not speak the cultural language of the greater Church's denominations, and an overly simplistic scoring system, this inventory is a just a game. Enjoy it, but don't take it too seriously. Do I win the prize for mimicking Pauline sentence structure?

This is an excellent assessment and is compiled in such a way that it quite accurately captures and fairly rates a person's acceptance of God's WORD, ranked by their both their knowledge of scripture and their lack as well. Good Job!!! I will be using some of these questions in a bible study, to bring an awareness to how much more we need to be reading God's WORD, and applying more of it into our daily activities.

I found many of the choices on the hermeneutics quiz to be either poorly phrased or providing insufficient choices. Some of the terms require definition due to a variety of meanings being possible. As with all surveys, this survey has a bias. The author seems to use nontraditional phrases that fail to communicate accurately within what should be a traditional context.
